Frequently Asked Questions
How do I log a job?
First you must register your machine with the manufacturer. Once you have registered the machine with the manufacturer you will then need to register an account with DingoTech. DingoTech registration enables you to manage your account, manage your machines, and receive status updates on open jobs. After registering an account you must then log in and register the machine you would like to be serviced. After you have registered the machine you will then be able to book a repair. Use the drop down menu to select the serial number of the machine you would like to be serviced. Note: Please limit the fault description to only 256 alphanumeric characters. Please also do not use a P.O box, as the address you have registered will be the pickup and delivery address for warranty items.
What happens after I log a job?
Once you have logged a request, DingoTech will contact you via email/phone with further instructions. This can take up to 24 hours from when you log your request. If your request involves a warranty repair, DingoTech will notify you to have your unit securely packaged and ready for a next business day courier pickup. Please see important instructions on how to pack a parcel for courier pickups.

How do I pack my parcel for courier pickups?
WARNING: Please do not send any accessories unless related to the fault description. Any accessories sent in unrelated to the described fault WILL NOT be returned. DingoTech will not be held responsible for lost accessories. Please download the important document guide on how to have your parcel ready for pickup.
Will I receive my original box back?
No, for security reasons we will be returning your job in a discreet inconspicuous box. Your box that was sent in will be destroyed and sent in to the local recycling plant.
How long will a repair take?
DingoTech strive to improve on the service so as to leave as little downtime as much as possible. Please anticipate your repair to be complete within 10 workings days. Please be aware that the turnaround time is based on the availability of parts. If parts are readily available the turnaround time will be much less. Our target is to bring this down to 5 working days.
What happens if my job is considered as non warranty?
After the job has been diagnosed by an engineer and the job is deemed to be a non warranty related issue DingoTech will notify you via email/phone of the situation. The notification will include the official quote for the repair. If you decide not to go ahead with the official quote. You can either pick up in person or arrange your own courier to deliver your machine at your earliest convenience. Alternatively, we can, at your request, send the machine back to you with a charge of $25.00ex GST one way. Please be aware that there will be a $100.00ex GST assessment fee for the labour involved in diagnosing your machine. Please note a $5.00ex GST per day storage fee will also be incurred for non warranty machines left in the repair centre from the date of notification.
How do I pay for a job or sales order request?
Currently we offer direct deposit or credit card (visa/master card) only. Please download the required files and either fax or email back confirmation of payment. Parts/requests will not be initiated until payment has been received.
Why am I unable to receive automatic email notifications from Dingotech?
Log into My Dingotech and check in My Details. Ensure that you have notifications enabled.
If you are still unable to receive automated email notifications then this may be because your mail server's spam filter has blocked the email or your mail server has no reverse DNS lookup (PTR) records configured. You should contact either your network administrator or ISP about this.
